The PRO-SOURCE HX6AM-F114.3-158 is a 4-horsepower air-actuated vane motor designed for industrial and trade applications requiring pneumatic rotary power. It operates at speeds ranging from 300 to 3000 RPM and delivers up to 7.0 ft/lb of torque at a maximum working pressure of 100 psi. The motor features a reversible keyed shaft with a diameter of 5/8 inch and a shaft length of 1.95 inches, making it suitable for direct coupling or belt-drive configurations. With a NEMA 56C mount style and NPT threaded air inlet, this unit fits standard industrial mounting plates. Licensed mechanics and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
This air motor is suited for use in industrial production, manufacturing, and maintenance environments where compressed-air power is preferred over electric drive — particularly in wet, explosive, or spark-sensitive areas. The reversible rotation capability supports bidirectional tooling setups. The 1/2-inch NPT thread connection integrates with standard shop-air or dedicated compressed-air distribution systems. With a maximum air flow of 128 SCFM and four vanes, the unit provides smooth, consistent torque delivery across its RPM range. It is appropriate for conveyor drives, agitators, hoists, and similar light-to-medium industrial power applications.
Designed for use with standard NEMA 56C mounting configurations and 1/2-inch NPT compressed-air systems in industrial and maintenance applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified industrial mechanic or maintenance technician familiar with pneumatic power systems. Shut off and bleed down the compressed-air supply before connecting or disconnecting the motor. Verify that the supply line pressure does not exceed the 100 psi maximum working pressure rating. Ensure all fittings are rated for the operating pressure and that thread sealant compatible with air service is used on NPT connections.
