Pro-source AUB03-2 Artist Paint Brush Size 2 Boar Pig

Product Description

The PRO-SOURCE AUB03-2 is a size 2 artist paint brush built for precision touch-up and ceramic art work. The bristles are made from boar and pig hair, measuring 5/32 inches wide and 3/4 inches in length. This combination of natural bristle material and modest bristle length gives the brush good paint-holding capacity while maintaining a controlled, fine stroke. The handle is wood, measuring 11 inches in length, providing a comfortable grip and reach during detail work. At 0.08 pounds, it is lightweight enough for extended use. This brush is suited for professionals and experienced hobbyists who require consistent performance on small surface areas.

The AUB03-2 is well suited for ceramic artists applying glazes, underglazes, or decorative finishes to bisqueware and greenware. It also performs well in general touch-up applications across trades and shop environments where a small, controlled brush is needed to coat, seal, or detail a specific surface. The natural boar and pig bristle construction works with a wide range of water-based and oil-based media. Its industry size 2 designation makes it a standard choice when a fine-to-medium tip is required for close, deliberate work.

Installation Notes

No mechanical installation is required for this product. Before first use, remove any loose bristles by gently rolling the brush between fingers. Clean the brush thoroughly after each use with a solvent or water appropriate to the media used, and reshape the bristles while wet to preserve tip integrity. Store flat or bristle-up to prevent deformation of the bristle head.
