The PRO-SOURCE 9873034090JP is a zero air loss condensate drain valve designed for compressed air systems. It automatically removes condensate that accumulates in air compressors, receivers, dryers, and filters without venting pressurized air during the drain cycle. The 0.75 inch inlet and 0.5 inch NPT outlet accommodate typical compressor drain port sizing. Operating pressure range is 87 to 175 psi, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial compressed air systems. Compressed air technicians and maintenance mechanics install this valve to reduce energy waste and protect downstream equipment from moisture contamination.
This condensate drain valve is rated for use with lubricated air compressors up to 1000 HP. It fits into compressed air system drain points on receivers, aftercoolers, refrigerated dryers, desiccant dryers, and filter housings where automatic, demand-based drainage is required. The zero air loss design means drainage occurs only when condensate is present, eliminating the continuous air bleed associated with timed solenoid drains. This makes it especially well suited for facilities focused on reducing compressed air energy consumption.
Designed for use with lubricated air compressors up to 1000 HP operating within a pressure range of 87 to 175 psi. Suitable for installation on receivers, aftercoolers, dryers, and filter housings in industrial compressed air systems.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified compressed air system technician or industrial maintenance mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing any existing drain valve or fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant to NPT connections and verify all fittings are leak-free before returning the system to service. Confirm the operating pressure of the system falls within the 87 to 175 psi rated range prior to commissioning.
