The PRO-SOURCE 5560002247PRO is a pneumatic air drill built for heavy-duty trade use in industrial, mechanical, and construction environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psi, it delivers 1 horsepower and spins at 1,200 RPM through a 1/2 inch keyed chuck, providing solid gripping force for large-diameter bits. The D-handle with integrated side handle gives two-handed control for high-torque drilling applications. Air consumption runs at 5.00 CFM, making it compatible with most shop compressors. This drill is designed for installation crews, maintenance mechanics, and industrial service technicians who need consistent power in a durable pneumatic package.
The 5560002247PRO is suited for industrial maintenance, fabrication shops, mechanical contracting, and heavy construction applications. The D-handle with side handle configuration is standard in scenarios requiring controlled two-handed operation, such as drilling through structural steel, heavy timber, or concrete anchoring work. The 3/8 inch NPT inlet connects to standard shop air lines. Bottom exhaust directs spent air away from the work surface and operator. At 12.5 inches in overall length, the tool fits into most mid-range work positions without excessive reach.
Designed as an OEM-style pneumatic drill for use with standard shop air supply systems delivering 90 psi and 5.00 CFM or greater. Replacement chuck key is available under MSC part number 09973801.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified mechanics or technicians familiar with pneumatic tool safety. Before connecting to an air supply, verify the line pressure does not exceed the rated 90 psi operating pressure for this tool. Use a properly sized air fitting at the 3/8 inch NPT inlet and ensure all connections are secure before applying air pressure. Always depressurize the air line before changing chuck accessories or performing any maintenance on the tool.
