The PRO-SOURCE 5560002122PRO is a right-angle pneumatic drill built for trade professionals working in confined spaces where a standard inline drill cannot reach. It accepts a 3/8 inch keyed chuck and runs at 1,500 RPM, driven by 0.35 horsepower at a recommended 90 psi of air pressure. The reversible motor adds flexibility for fastener removal as well as drilling. At 2.6 pounds, it is light enough for sustained overhead or lateral work without excessive fatigue. HVAC techs, plumbers, electricians, and general mechanical contractors regularly use right-angle air drills like this one when working inside equipment cabinets, wall cavities, and tight equipment bays.
The right-angle handle configuration makes this drill well suited for residential and light commercial service work where access is restricted. Typical applications include drilling pilot holes and driving fasteners in ductwork framing, panel enclosures, structural members inside mechanical rooms, and similar tight-access scenarios. The keyed chuck provides a positive bit lock, which is preferred when drilling into metal or wood where bit slippage under load is a concern. The reversible function also assists with backing out broken or stripped fasteners during service calls.
Designed as a standard right-angle pneumatic drill compatible with 3/8 inch round-shank drill bits and accessories. The replacement chuck key is referenced as MSC item 08592784.
Connection to an air supply line should be made with the air source shut off or isolated before attaching or detaching the tool. Verify the supply pressure does not exceed the rated 90 psi operating pressure before use. A licensed or qualified trade professional should confirm that the drill and any bits used are appropriate for the material and application at hand. Keep the chuck key secured and away from the chuck during operation.
