Pro-source 4750230011PRO Foot Pedal Valve 5-way 2-position

Product Description

The PRO-SOURCE 4750230011PRO is a manually operated foot pedal valve designed for pneumatic control applications. It uses a spring-actuated foot pedal mechanism that returns to the default position when foot pressure is released. The valve features a 5-way, 2-position design with a Cv rating of 0.65, making it suitable for directing airflow in pneumatic circuits. NPT threaded ports allow for straightforward integration into standard compressed air plumbing. Plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians typically install this type of valve in industrial and commercial environments where hands-free actuation is required.

This foot pedal valve is used in pneumatic systems where an operator needs to control air flow or cylinder movement without using hands. Typical applications include assembly line actuators, clamping fixtures, and other machinery where foot-operated control improves workflow. The spring return function ensures the valve resets automatically when not engaged, preventing unintended actuation. It is suited for use in both light industrial and commercial pneumatic circuits requiring a reliable mechanical switching point.

Key Features

• Spring-actuated foot pedal returns valve to default position upon release
• 5-way, 2-position configuration for directional pneumatic control
• 0.65 Cv rating for consistent flow performance
• NPT threaded ports for compatibility with standard pneumatic plumbing
• 5-port design supports full directional circuit control
• Compact footprint suited for floor-mounted installation in tight spaces

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct addition for pneumatic control systems requiring a 5-way, 2-position foot pedal actuated valve with NPT connections.

Installation Notes

Installation of this valve should be performed by a qualified pneumatic system technician or pipefitter. Depressurize the pneumatic system fully before removing or installing any valve to prevent accidental actuation or injury. Use appropriate thread sealant on NPT connections and avoid over-tightening to prevent port damage. Verify circuit schematic compatibility with a 5-way, 2-position valve configuration before completing the installation.
