The PRO-SOURCE 2555718465PRO is a push-to-connect tube fitting with a universal thread connection, designed for quick, tool-free tube terminations in compressed air and water systems. The fitting accepts 1/8 inch outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end and threads to a 1/4 inch universal thread port on the opposite end. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it is rated to 250 psi. A Buna-N O-ring provides the primary thread-end seal. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic system installers use this type of fitting where a permanent tube connection must be made to a threaded component without additional tooling.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving compressed air lines, water supply tubing, or pneumatic control circuits. The universal thread end allows connection to a wide range of threaded ports and fittings in standard trade plumbing and fluid-power installations. Each package contains 5 fittings, making it practical for service calls or small installations requiring multiple connection points. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast tube insertion with a secure, pressure-rated hold under normal system operating conditions.
Designed for use with compressed air and water systems requiring a 1/8 inch OD tube to 1/4 inch universal thread connection. Suitable as a standard push-to-connect replacement fitting in pneumatic and fluid-handling assemblies.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any fittings. Insert tubing straight and fully into the push-to-connect end until it seats; confirm engagement by applying light pull-back tension to the tube. Thread the universal thread end into the receiving port by hand first, then snug with a wrench, taking care not to cross-thread or over-torque the brass fitting body.
