The PRO-SAFE UP1212200 is a universal-use polypropylene sorbent pad designed for rapid absorption of oils, coolants, solvents, and water-based chemicals in industrial and trade service environments. Each pad measures 12 inches wide by 24 inches long and is rated for up to 22 gallons of absorption per package. Constructed from polypropylene, these pads resist tearing during use and hold absorbed fluids securely to reduce drip and secondary contamination. The pack contains 200 pads, making it suitable for facilities, service fleets, or job sites with ongoing spill-control requirements. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians frequently keep sorbent pads on hand during equipment service to manage fluid releases at the work site.
These pads are appropriate for both residential and commercial service calls where fluid containment is required. Common applications include catching refrigerant oil drips during coil or compressor service, absorbing condensate during plumbing repairs, containing coolant spills in mechanical rooms, and managing chemical releases during pool or chemical-feed system maintenance. The universal-use classification means the polypropylene media absorbs a broad range of fluids including petroleum-based oils, water, and many common chemicals, reducing the need to stock multiple pad types.
Designed as a universal sorbent pad suitable for general spill control across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool service applications where oils, water, or chemical fluids must be contained.
Sorbent pads require no tools or installation - place pads directly under or around the spill or leak source before beginning service work. Wear appropriate PPE, including chemical-resistant gloves, when handling pads that have absorbed hazardous fluids. Dispose of used pads in accordance with local environmental regulations, which may classify chemically saturated pads as hazardous waste. Store unused pads in a dry location to preserve absorption capacity.
