The PRO-SAFE PSG1902P is a combination drench shower and eyewash station designed for emergency decontamination in industrial and commercial environments. The unit delivers 20 GPM shower flow and 0.4 GPM bowl flow, both rated at 30 psi operating pressure. Activation is handled via a triangular pull rod and push flag mechanism, allowing rapid one-motion deployment even when a worker is disoriented or impaired. The shower head is plastic construction, while the supply piping is galvanized steel for corrosion resistance. Installation accepts top or mid supply configurations through a 1-1/4 inch inlet connection. Licensed safety coordinators, plumbers, and industrial facility maintenance professionals handle installation of this equipment.
This station is suited for facilities where workers are exposed to hazardous chemicals, corrosives, or contaminants — including manufacturing plants, chemical processing facilities, laboratories, and industrial workshops. The open wash station style provides unrestricted access during an emergency. The unit meets ANSI Z358.1-2004 requirements, the governing standard for emergency eyewash and shower equipment in the workplace. Both drench shower and eyewash functions are combined in a single assembly, reducing footprint while maintaining compliant coverage for two exposure types simultaneously.
Designed as an OEM-style emergency safety station for industrial and commercial facilities requiring ANSI Z358.1-2004 compliant drench shower and eyewash coverage at a 1-1/4 inch inlet supply connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber familiar with local plumbing codes and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151 requirements for emergency eyewash and shower placement. Shut off the water supply to the feed line before making any connections. Verify supply pressure falls within the rated operating range before placing the unit in service. The station must be located in an accessible area reachable within 10 seconds of a hazard exposure zone per ANSI Z358.1-2004 siting guidelines.
