The PRO-SAFE PS-BGS is a bench grinder safety shield designed to protect operators from sparks, debris, and fragments generated during grinding operations. It mounts via a flexible gooseneck arm that allows the shield to be repositioned to suit the grinding angle or operator preference. The oversized polycarbonate viewing window is made from Lexan and provides more than 58 square inches of clear, impact-resistant coverage. At 4 pounds, the assembly is sturdy without adding excessive load to the bench grinder setup. This shield is installed by shop technicians, maintenance professionals, and tradespeople who operate standard bench grinders in industrial, commercial, or workshop environments.

The PS-BGS is intended for use with standard bench grinders across a range of shop and trade applications. Each unit ships fully assembled with two 1/4-20 mounting screws included. Note that a standard bench grinder has two grinding wheels; two shields may be needed to provide full coverage on both sides of the machine.
