Pro-safe PS-97603-L Hook Strap Plastic Black 16.8 in

Product Description

The PRO-SAFE PS-97603-L is a plastic hook strap designed for use with plastic safety chain systems. Measuring 16.8 inches in length, this black strap provides a secure snap-end connection point in barrier, crowd control, and area demarcation applications. Both the snap end and the body are constructed from plastic, keeping the assembly lightweight and resistant to corrosion in indoor and outdoor environments. Licensed safety professionals, facility maintenance crews, and trade contractors install this type of strap as a replacement or expansion component within existing chain barrier setups.

This hook strap is suited for use in job sites, warehouses, parking areas, and industrial facilities where plastic chain barriers define restricted zones or guide foot traffic. It functions as a direct attachment piece between a fixed anchor point and a length of plastic chain. The all-plastic construction makes it a practical choice in environments where metal hardware could corrode or pose a conductivity concern.

Installation Notes

Installation requires no specialized tools. Attach the snap end to a fixed anchor post or bracket, then connect the plastic chain through the strap loop. Inspect the snap mechanism for wear or cracking before each use, particularly in high-UV or high-traffic environments. Replace the strap if the snap end no longer seats securely.
