The PRO-SAFE PS-2DANCR6 is a temporary D-ring anchor sling constructed from polyester webbing and designed for use in personal fall arrest and fall restraint systems. Measuring 72 inches in length and 3 inches in width, this sling anchors a worker's lanyard or self-retracting lifeline to a structural attachment point above the work area. Weighing 2 pounds, it is lightweight enough for daily carry in a tool bag or gear pack. The D-ring connection hardware provides a secure, load-rated interface point for compatible lanyards and connectors. Licensed safety professionals and qualified riggers working at height on construction, maintenance, and industrial job sites are the primary installers and users of this equipment.
This anchor sling is intended for temporary fall protection applications where a fixed or permanent anchor is not feasible or required. Typical use scenarios include structural steel work, roofing, elevated maintenance platforms, and scaffolding tie-off points. The polyester construction resists abrasion and offers reliable performance across a range of job-site conditions. It is packaged as a single unit and is suitable wherever a temporary, removable anchor point connection is needed in a personal fall arrest system.
Designed as a temporary D-ring anchor sling for use with personal fall arrest systems requiring a standard D-ring anchor attachment point.
Anchor slings must be installed by a competent person trained in fall protection, in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502 and applicable ANSI Z359 standards. Inspect the webbing, stitching, and D-ring hardware for wear, cuts, or deformation before each use — remove from service immediately if damage is found. The anchor point to which this sling is attached must be capable of supporting the minimum load required by the applicable fall protection standard. Never tie knots in the webbing or modify the sling in any way.
