The PRO-SAFE GS4-12 is a polypropylene absorbent sock designed to contain and absorb liquid spills in industrial and commercial environments. Each sock measures 3 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length, making it well-suited for placing around machinery, along drain perimeters, or at spill boundaries. The polypropylene fill material allows the sock to absorb a wide range of common fluids. Each package contains 12 socks with a combined absorption capacity of 15 gallons per package. Facility maintenance crews, environmental health and safety teams, and trade service technicians working in shops or mechanical rooms are the primary installers and users of this product.
The GS4-12 sock is rated for universal application, meaning it is appropriate for use with water-based fluids, coolants, and general-purpose liquid spills. It is commonly deployed around HVAC condensate overflow points, plumbing service areas, pump rooms, electrical equipment pads, and shop floors where fluid containment is required. The 4-foot length allows a single sock to wrap around standard equipment bases or line a floor drain. Buying in a 12-pack provides enough coverage for staging multiple containment zones during a service call or facility maintenance round.
Designed for universal application across industrial, commercial, and mechanical service environments where general liquid spill containment is required.
Absorbent socks require no tools for deployment and do not involve electrical, plumbing, or gas connections. Place socks directly on dry surfaces around the spill perimeter or drainage point before beginning service work that may produce fluid discharge. Saturated socks should be handled with appropriate personal protective equipment and disposed of in accordance with local environmental regulations, particularly if the absorbed fluid is a regulated substance. Do not use universal-grade polypropylene socks as the sole containment method for concentrated chemical or hazardous material spills without verifying chemical compatibility.
