The PRO-SAFE GLA-C556-S is a cut- and abrasion-resistant work glove engineered for trade professionals who handle sharp materials, sheet metal, glass, or tooling during daily tasks. The shell is constructed from ATA HPPE (High-Performance Polyethylene) fiber, which provides ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 protection. The palm and fingers receive a dipped polyurethane coating that delivers a secure grip on both dry and lightly oily surfaces. A reinforced thumb crotch addresses one of the highest-wear contact points on any work glove. ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance is rated at Level 4, meaning the glove withstands sustained friction without rapid material breakdown. Sized for men's small or women's medium, the continuous knit cuff fits close to the wrist to limit debris entry.
These gloves are suited for HVAC sheet metal work, electrical conduit handling, plumbing rough-in, and light fabrication tasks where cut hazards are present but tactile sensitivity still matters. The thin polyurethane palm coating preserves dexterity, making them practical for tasks that require fastener placement, wire routing, or part manipulation. They are sold as a paired set and are appropriate for professional trade use on residential and light commercial job sites.
Designed as a general-purpose cut-resistant hand protection solution for trade professionals; compatible with standard work glove applications wherever ANSI Cut Level A5 protection is required.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating delamination that may compromise protection. Replace immediately if the shell or coating shows visible damage. These gloves do not provide electrical arc flash or high-voltage protection and must not be substituted for rated electrical insulating gloves in live-circuit work. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection standards when selecting PPE for specific hazard classifications.
