The PRO-SAFE GLA-C555-S is a cut- and abrasion-resistant work glove rated to ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 and ANSI Abrasion Level 4. The glove is constructed from an ATA HPPE (high-performance polyethylene) shell with a continuous knit HPPE cuff, providing durable protection across the hand and wrist. A micro-foam nitrile coating covers the palm and fingers, delivering reliable grip on both dry and lightly oily surfaces. The reinforced thumb crotch adds targeted durability at one of the highest-wear contact points. This glove is sized for small men's hands and fits a women's medium, and is sold as a paired set. It is installed by maintenance personnel, mechanical contractors, electricians, plumbers, and general trade workers who handle sharp-edged materials, sheet metal, glass, or abrasive components.
This glove is suited for residential and light commercial trade applications where hand protection from cut hazards and surface abrasion is required. Typical use cases include handling sheet metal ductwork, copper pipe, conduit, glass panels, and abrasive fasteners. The palm-coated nitrile grip surface maintains tactile sensitivity, making it practical for tasks that require manual dexterity alongside cut protection. The black and gray colorway is standard for trade and industrial environments. The glove meets ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for cut and abrasion resistance.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use cut-resistant glove for trade and industrial hand-protection programs requiring ANSI Cut Level A5 compliance in a size small palm-coated configuration.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that could compromise protection. Do not use cut-resistant gloves as a substitute for arc flash, chemical-splash, or electrical-insulation PPE where those specific hazards are present. Follow applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138 hand protection requirements when selecting and using gloves for specific trade tasks. Replace gloves when the coating shows visible cracking, peeling, or the shell fibers are visibly cut or frayed.
