The PRIME LINE PRODUCTS PL 14077 is a mill finish aluminum screen frame extrusion measuring 3/4 inches wide by 5/16 inches deep by 94 inches long. Formed from .020-gauge aluminum, it delivers a lightweight but rigid profile suited for fabricating or re-screening window and door screen assemblies. The mill finish provides a clean, uncoated aluminum appearance ready for field use. Screen and door installers, window service techs, and glazing contractors use this extrusion to build custom-size screen frames on the job or in the shop. Each pack contains 20 individual lengths.
This frame extrusion is intended for residential and light commercial window screen and door screen applications. It is cut to length and joined at corners using compatible nylon or metal miter corner hardware. Compatible corner hardware includes the 4-pack PL7727, the 100-pack PL14284 gray nylon corners, and the 100-pack PL14294 metal miter corners. Spline selection depends on mesh type: use .165 spline for aluminum mesh or .185 spline for fiberglass mesh. This extrusion is well-suited for screen repair shops, window service companies, and maintenance contractors handling high-volume screen replacement work.

Cut frame lengths to the required dimension using a miter saw or aluminum-rated chop saw before inserting corner hardware. Ensure all power tools are appropriate for aluminum cutting and that proper eye and hand protection is worn. Spline should be rolled in with a spline roller tool after mesh is positioned squarely over the assembled frame.
