The PREMISE WIRING S1SP4X4 is a modular sub plate designed for use with SystemOne floor boxes and poke-through assemblies. It provides four 125-volt, 20-amp receptacle positions along with four keystone openings in a single round plate, giving electricians a flexible, reconfigurable solution for floor-level power and data access. The plate is constructed from cast aluminum and measures 5.36 inches in diameter by 0.22 inches in height. It mounts via a flange in flush-service configurations and carries UL approval for both the US and Canada. Installation is straightforward for licensed electricians working in commercial office, education, or multi-tenant environments where floor box systems are common.
The S1SP4X4 sub plate inserts into a universal SystemOne cover, allowing contractors and specifiers to build application-specific combinations without replacing the entire floor box or poke-through assembly. The modular design supports future moves, adds, and changes economically — the sub plate can be swapped out while the base infrastructure stays in place. This makes it well suited for commercial interiors where tenant configurations change over time. The four keystone openings accept standard low-voltage inserts, enabling data, audio, or video connections alongside the four 20-amp receptacles in the same footprint.
Designed for use with Hubbell SystemOne floor boxes and poke-through assemblies. Installs into the universal SystemOne cover as a modular sub plate replacement or upgrade component.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Power down the circuit and verify zero voltage at the floor box before handling any wiring or sub plate components. The flange mounting style requires the universal SystemOne cover to be in place prior to sub plate insertion. Keystone inserts are field-installed separately and should be rated appropriately for the intended low-voltage application.
