Premier Paint Roller 72572 Mini Paint Roller 1/4 in Nap

Product Description

The PREMIER PAINT ROLLER 72572 is a mini paint roller designed for finish work requiring a thin, smooth coating application. The roller measures 6.5 inches wide and features a 1/4 inch nap cover, making it well suited for applying paint, stain, or sealers to flat, lightly textured, or semi-smooth surfaces. Each unit ships with the roller cover included, so no separate sleeve purchase is needed. This product is sold as a pack of 10 units, making it practical for professional crews who need consistent tools across multiple jobs or want to keep spare covers on hand. Painters, finish carpenters, and general contractors are the typical end users.

The 72572 mini roller is used in residential and light commercial painting applications where a standard full-size roller would be too large or unwieldy. Common scenarios include painting cabinet faces, door panels, trim boards, stair risers, and other narrow or confined surfaces. The 6.5 inch width fits into tight areas where a standard 9 inch or 18 inch roller cannot maneuver effectively. The 1/4 inch nap is appropriate for smooth to lightly textured substrates where a thicker nap would leave an unacceptable stipple pattern.

Installation Notes

Mini rollers are installed by professional painters and finishing tradespeople. Before use, inspect the cover for loose fibers and condition the nap with a lint roller or damp wipe to reduce fiber shedding onto finished surfaces. Use appropriate personal protective equipment when working with paints, stains, or chemical coatings. Follow the coating manufacturer's application guidelines for spread rate and recoat intervals.
