The PREMIER ONE PRODUCTS PFCS003 is a current sensing switch designed for whole house true HEPA air cleaner systems. It monitors electrical current flow in the circuit and signals the air cleaner to operate in sync with the HVAC blower motor. When the blower runs, the switch detects the current and activates the filtration unit automatically. Licensed HVAC technicians and air quality system installers are the primary service professionals who handle this component. The switch measures approximately 2.48 inches in height, 4.95 inches in length, and 3.46 inches in width, and is domestically manufactured.
This switch is intended for residential whole house air purification applications where the air cleaner must operate in coordination with the central HVAC system. It is installed in line with the blower motor circuit and eliminates the need for a separate low-voltage control signal. Compatible with multiple PREMIER ONE PRODUCTS air cleaner models, it provides reliable automatic operation tied directly to blower motor status.
Compatible with PREMIER ONE PRODUCTS models MUV7-100DR, MUV7-100TR, MUV-401H, MUV-403H, MUV7-50DR, MUV7-50PS, and MUV7-50SR.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with air handler and air cleaner wiring. Shut off power to the air handler and air cleaner system at the breaker before beginning any wiring work. Verify that the current sensing switch is positioned correctly around the blower motor supply conductor per the manufacturer wiring diagram. All electrical work must comply with applicable NEC requirements and local codes.
