The PRECISION TWIST DRILL 6000938 is a cobalt taper shank drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in hard and abrasive materials. Built to a 135-degree notched point with a web-thinned tip, it starts on center with reduced thrust and cuts cleanly through stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other tough workpieces. The 3MT (Morse Taper 3) shank seats directly into compatible drill press spindles and lathes. At 15/16 inch diameter with a 6.125-inch spiral flute and 10.75-inch overall length, this bit handles deep-hole applications where jobber-length drills fall short. The gold oxide finish provides mild lubricity and corrosion resistance.

Compatibility

Installation Notes
