The bit measures 35/64 inch (0.5469 inches decimal) in cutting diameter with a 1/2 inch straight-cylindrical shank, allowing use in standard 1/2 inch chucks even though the cutting diameter is slightly larger. Overall length is 6 inches with a 3 inch flute length. The 118-degree split point reduces walking on entry and lowers thrust requirements. Cobalt construction provides heat resistance for hard material drilling without a separate coating.
