Built from high speed steel (HSS) with a bright/uncoated finish, this bit features a 135-degree split point that reduces walking and allows self-centering entry without a center punch in many applications. The parabolic flute geometry, running 4.625 inches along a 7.25-inch overall length, promotes aggressive chip evacuation and improved cutting efficiency. The straight cylindrical shank measures 27/64 inch (0.4219 inch decimal), and the bit carries a 6xD flute-to-diameter ratio suited to deeper hole applications where a jobber-length bit falls short.

Installation Notes
