Precision Brand 43325 is a Type 2 hot melt strippable protective coating with a cellulose acetate butyrate base. It protects parts from damage during shipping and handling and from rust and corrosion during long-term storage. The coating is supplied presliced for manageable application and peels off for removal. Melting temperature is 320 to 340 °F and set time is less than 60 seconds; packaging is a five-pound poly bag.
