Precision Brand 43010 is a Type 1 hot melt strippable protective coating that protects items from damage during shipping and handling and from rust and corrosion during long-term storage. The ethylcellulose-based coating is supplied presliced in a 5 lb poly bag, melts at 340 to 350 F with a set time under 60 seconds, and peels off for removal. Typical applications include cutting tools, saw blades, gauges, gears, and other metal parts.
