The PRECISION BRAND 35450 is an all-stainless steel worm gear hose clamp engineered for secure, corrosion-resistant clamping in demanding plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical service applications. The clamp spans a diameter range of 2-13/16 inches to 3-3/4 inches, making it suitable for a broad range of hose sizes within that range. Its three-piece construction eliminates spot welds, removing a common point of corrosion and mechanical failure. Rounded edges protect hose material from cuts or abrasion during tightening. The clamp meets or exceeds SAE torque specifications, giving technicians confidence in torque-to-seal performance without guesswork.
This clamp is used wherever a reliable, corrosion-resistant hose-to-fitting connection is required. Typical applications include HVAC condensate drain lines, plumbing supply connections, radiator hose service, and general mechanical fluid-handling assemblies. The all-stainless construction makes it well suited for outdoor, wet, or chemically active environments where standard carbon-steel clamps would corrode prematurely. Sold in packs with a minimum order quantity of 10 units, this clamp is intended for shop stock and field service use by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors.
Designed as a general-purpose worm gear hose clamp for use with standard hoses and fittings falling within the 2-13/16 inch to 3-3/4 inch diameter range across plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical fluid-handling applications.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified mechanical contractors using a standard flat-head or hex-drive screwdriver or nut driver. Shut off the fluid supply and relieve system pressure before removing or installing hose clamps. Position the clamp so the band seats evenly around the hose and over the fitting bead before tightening. Do not overtighten beyond SAE specification, as doing so can cut into the hose or deform the fitting.
