The PPS 28504 is a 1-1/2 inch carbon steel ball valve designed for Megapress press-fit piping systems in water service applications. The press x press (P x P) end connections allow tool-actuated cold-press joining without open flame, reducing installation time and eliminating torch work in occupied or sensitive spaces. This valve is rated for water service only and provides reliable full-bore shutoff in commercial and residential plumbing systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters working with Viega-compatible Megapress tooling are the typical installers.

This valve is suited for water distribution systems where press-fit joining is specified or required. The 1-1/2 inch size fits common branch and main supply lines in commercial plumbing, hydronic distribution, and mechanical room applications. Installation Notes
