Product Description

The PPS 26505 is a 3-inch carbon steel 90-degree press elbow designed for pressfit piping systems operating on water and compressed air lines. It uses an FKM elastomer seal and carries a 200 psi pressure rating across a service temperature range of 0 to 250 degrees F. This fitting is part of the Megapress XL product line and installs without open flame, threading, or soldering. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters use this elbow where a direction change is required in press-fit steel pipe runs. The press-end by press-end (P x P) configuration accommodates standard tool-driven crimping on both sides of the fitting.

This elbow is suited for residential and commercial mechanical systems carrying water or air. Typical applications include hydronic heating loops, chilled water distribution, compressed air headers, and similar non-gas wet and dry service lines. It is not approved for natural gas service under any circumstance. The 3-inch nominal size targets mid-to-large diameter piping installations common in commercial buildings and light industrial settings where press-fit speed and reliability are priorities.
