The PPS 20753 is a 4-inch copper press-style no-stop coupling designed for fast, flame-free pipe joining in demanding mechanical systems. Rated to 200 psi and a temperature range of 0 to 250 degrees F, this fitting accommodates potable water, hot and cold water distribution, hydronic heating, gas, fire protection, and solar applications. The press end style allows technicians to make a secure, leak-tested connection using a compatible press tool without soldering, reducing installation time and open-flame risk in occupied or sensitive spaces. Manufactured from copper, it delivers corrosion resistance and long service life in both residential and commercial systems.
This coupling is suited for 4-inch copper press systems across a wide range of applications including potable water supply, hot and cold water distribution, hydronic heating loops, gas distribution, fire protection piping, and solar thermal systems. The no-stop design allows pipe to pass through fully, making it useful for repair or tie-in situations where a traditional stop coupling would restrict positioning. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or mechanical contractor familiar with press-fitting systems and the applicable local plumbing code, including IPC requirements. Shut off and depressurize the supply line before cutting in the fitting. Use only a calibrated press tool with the correct jaw size for 4-inch copper press connections, and verify the connection is fully seated before pressing. Do not apply heat to this fitting during installation.
