Low frequency sounders operate at or near 520 Hz, which is the frequency standard established for sleeping area notification, making this device appropriate for applications where audible alerting must penetrate closed doors and reach occupants who may not respond to higher-frequency tones. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed fire alarm technician or electrician in accordance with NFPA 72, the National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the notification appliance circuit and fire alarm control panel before wiring. Verify polarity on the notification appliance circuit prior to restoring power. A full system functional test should be conducted after installation per the authority having jurisdiction.
