The PIP 267-HPF410 is a disposable foam earplug designed to deliver reliable hearing protection in high-noise industrial and trade environments. Manufactured from soft polyurethane foam with a tapered flare profile, these earplugs use the roll-down insertion method for a consistent, low-pressure fit across a universal earcanal size range. The 32-decibel Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) meets ANSI S3.19-1974 requirements, making them appropriate for continuous-noise tasks such as grinding, cutting, compressor operation, and mechanical work. Each package contains 200 uncorded earplugs. Typical users include HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, pipefitters, and other trade professionals exposed to sustained elevated noise levels on the job site.
These earplugs are suited for single-use deployment in residential and commercial construction, mechanical rooms, industrial facilities, and any environment where noise levels require hearing protection compliance. The universal sizing eliminates the need for fit-testing or sizing kits, which makes bulk dispensing practical for crew use. The red polyurethane foam is easy to identify during inspection. The uncorded design is preferred in applications where a connecting cord would interfere with other PPE or work movements.
Designed as a universal-fit disposable earplug suitable for general industrial and trade hearing protection programs where a 32 dB NRR roll-down foam earplug is specified.
Roll-down earplugs should be inserted by a trained user following OSHA-recommended technique: roll the plug into a tight cylinder, reach over the head to pull the ear canal straight, insert the compressed plug, and hold in place until foam expands to fill the canal. Proper insertion is required to achieve the rated NRR attenuation. Disposable earplugs should not be reused once removed, as reuse degrades hygiene and fit performance. Where required by site safety programs, fitting instructions should be posted at the dispenser location.
