The PIP 1810-6 is a multi-task welding glove designed for professional welders and fabricators who need reliable hand protection against flame and heat exposure. Constructed from grain cowhide leather on the palm and split cowhide leather on the back, these gloves use Kevlar stitching throughout to resist burn-through at seams. The Kontour design incorporates pre-curved, three-dimensional fingers and a form-fitting cut for improved dexterity — a critical feature when handling wire, rod, or torch equipment. A large pulse protector adds focused impact and abrasion protection at the wrist and lower palm area where contact stress is highest.
These gloves are intended for use in general manufacturing, structural fabrication, pipe welding, and maintenance welding applications. The gauntlet-style cuff extends coverage up the forearm, making them appropriate for overhead work and situations involving spatter or slag exposure. Sized X-Large for men and 2X-Large for women, the 1810-6 suits a wide range of hand sizes on the shop floor. The unlined construction keeps the glove lighter and more responsive than padded alternatives, which benefits welders who prioritize feel over insulation. A complimentary 3-inch carabiner is included for convenient tool-loop storage.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use welding glove suitable for multi-task welding operations including MIG, stick, and general fabrication work.
Welding gloves should be inspected before each use for cuts, holes, or compromised seams that could reduce protection. Always power down welding equipment before adjusting or donning gloves. Do not use gloves that show burn-through, excessive wear, or damaged stitching. Replace immediately if structural integrity is compromised, per standard shop PPE protocols.
