The PIP 16-665/XXL is a cut-resistant work glove rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A5, designed for trade professionals who work around sharp materials, sheet metal, glass, or abrasive surfaces. The shell is constructed from a 13-gauge Aramid and PolyKor blended fiber, giving the glove a lightweight profile without sacrificing cut protection. The palm and fingers are dipped in polyurethane for grip and durability. The seamless knit construction reduces internal seam pressure, which matters over a full shift. At 10.8 inches overall length and sized for 2XL hands, this glove fits workers with larger hands who need dexterity alongside cut protection. It also carries an EN 388 rating of 4X42E, confirming performance against abrasion, cut, tear, and puncture under European standards.
This glove is suited for residential and commercial trades where cut hazards are present — HVAC sheet metal fabrication, mechanical piping, electrical conduit work, and general construction. The polyurethane palm coating provides tactile sensitivity for handling small hardware and fittings without removing the glove. The knit cuff keeps debris out and allows for a secure fit at the wrist. The paired design means each package contains one matched pair. The Aramid and PolyKor liner also provides a degree of heat resistance, making this glove appropriate for light heat-exposure tasks in addition to cut-hazard applications.
Designed as an OEM-style cut-resistant glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI A5 hand protection in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical work environments.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that could compromise protection. Do not use damaged gloves where cut or puncture hazards are present. These gloves are not rated as electrical insulating PPE and should not be used as primary protection against electrical shock. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection standards and jobsite PPE requirements when selecting and using cut-resistant gloves.
