The PIP 16-541/XL is a knit-style work glove engineered for cut, puncture, and abrasion resistance in demanding trade environments. Built on a 21-gauge seamless PolyKor fiber shell, the glove meets ANSI/ISEA A4 cut resistance, Level 2 puncture resistance, and Level 3 abrasion resistance. The palm and fingers are coated with polyurethane for grip and durability while retaining tactile sensitivity. The seamless knit construction reduces pressure points and improves breathability during extended wear. This glove is sized for X-Large and ships as a pair. It is suited for HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and general trade workers handling sheet metal, conduit, pipe, or other sharp-edged materials.
The 16-541/XL is a general-purpose protective glove for residential and commercial trade applications. The flat-grip polyurethane palm coating performs well on smooth and semi-rough surfaces. The gray knit cuff and black shell keep the glove low-profile under tool belts and equipment. The touchscreen-compatible palm coating allows device use without removing the glove, which reduces workflow interruptions on job sites where tablets or smartphones are used for drawings and diagnostics. The 21-gauge PolyKor shell is lightweight enough for precision work such as wire terminations, connector assembly, or fitting manipulation.
Designed as an OEM-style protective work glove for general trade use in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and construction applications where ANSI/ISEA A4 cut resistance is required.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that would reduce protection. Replace immediately if the shell or coating is compromised. These gloves do not provide electrical insulation and are not rated as PPE for live electrical work under NFPA 70E or OSHA 1910.137. Follow applicable site safety protocols and PPE requirements when selecting hand protection for specific hazards.
