The PIP 16-351/L is a cut- and puncture-resistant work glove built for trade professionals who handle sharp materials, sheet metal, glass, or wire on the job. The shell and lining are constructed from an HPPE blend, providing ANSI/ISEA cut resistance at Level A5 and puncture resistance at Level 3. A nitrile foam coating covers the palm and fingers, delivering reliable grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The glove meets ANSI/ISEA abrasion resistance Level 4, making it well-suited for high-wear applications. Sold as a pair in size Large, the 16-351/L is a practical choice for HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and general maintenance trades working around sharp edges or rough materials.
The 16-351/L fits into a wide range of residential and commercial service environments. It is appropriate for sheet metal handling during HVAC duct fabrication and installation, wire pulling in electrical work, pipe and fitting handling in plumbing, and general mechanical maintenance tasks. The continuous knit cuff provides a secure, comfortable fit at the wrist. At 10 inches in overall length, the glove offers extended coverage beyond the wrist for added protection during reaching or overhead work. The black nitrile foam grip surface performs well when handling oily or greasy components common in mechanical trades.
Designed as a general-purpose cut-resistant work glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI A5-rated hand protection in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC service applications.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating degradation that may reduce protection. Replace gloves when the coating shows significant wear or when the shell material is compromised. These gloves do not provide electrical arc flash or high-voltage insulation protection and should not be used as a substitute for rated electrical PPE. Follow all applicable OSHA hand protection requirements and employer PPE programs when selecting and using cut-resistant gloves.
