The PIP 15-215/M is a cut-, puncture-, and abrasion-resistant work glove built for trade professionals who need reliable hand protection without sacrificing dexterity. The shell is constructed from 13-gauge seamless-knit Suprene fiber, a high-performance material rated among the strongest cut- and tear-resistant fibers available. The palm, fingers, and knuckles are dipped in black nitrile with a MicroSurface grip texture, providing an impermeable coating that enhances grip on wet, oily, or dry surfaces. The glove meets ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A4, ANSI Puncture Level 4, and ANSI Abrasion Level 3, and carries an EN 388 rating of 4544DX. Overall length is 9.5 inches.
This glove is suited for applications where cut and puncture hazards are common — including HVAC sheet metal handling, plumbing rough-in, electrical conduit work, and general mechanical service. The seamless knit construction allows full finger movement for tool use and part handling. The tan Suprene shell with knit cuff is unisex and sized for medium hands, fitting most adult male medium or adult female small sizing. The nitrile coating is not rated as a blood-borne pathogen barrier and is not FDA approved, making it appropriate for mechanical and light industrial use rather than medical applications.
Designed as a general-purpose cut- and puncture-resistant glove for trade professionals in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service applications where ANSI Cut A4 hand protection is required.
Inspect gloves prior to each use for cuts, tears, or coating delamination that would reduce protection. These gloves are not rated for electrical arc flash, high-voltage work, or chemical immersion — verify the hazard profile before selecting this glove for a task. Replace immediately if the shell or nitrile coating is compromised. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations if contaminated with hazardous materials.
