The PIP 09-K1660/M is a cut-resistant work glove designed for trade professionals who need reliable hand protection without sacrificing dexterity. Built on a 13-gauge seamless Kevlar knit shell, the glove delivers ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A2 performance and an abrasion resistance rating of Level 4. The palm and fingers are double-dipped in nitrile with a MicroSurface texture, giving the wearer a secure grip on wet, dry, and oily surfaces. At 9.6 inches overall length, the glove covers the hand and wrist with a knit cuff that stays snug during repetitive tasks. This glove is installed — not a tool, but worn — by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general trade workers handling sharp sheet metal, conduit, pipe, or component edges.
The 09-K1660/M is suited for light to moderate cut-risk applications in residential and commercial trade work. Typical use cases include sheet metal handling during ductwork fabrication or installation, pipe cutting and deburring, and general parts handling where grip and cut protection are both required. The Kevlar fiber shell is inherently cut resistant and will not melt, ignite, or conduct electricity, making it appropriate for incidental electrical exposure environments. The glove ships as a pair in size Medium, which also corresponds to a Women's Small sizing equivalent.
