The PHOENIX 1200101 is a DryRod Type 300 electrode storage and drying oven designed for professional welding operations. Built around a circular oven chamber that promotes consistent airflow and even heat distribution, this unit holds up to 400 pounds of 18-inch electrodes and operates on 240 or 480 volts. A door-mounted thermometer provides immediate temperature indication, while an adjustable thermostatic control lets technicians dial in precise drying conditions. Metal-sheathed twin heating elements deliver reliable, consistent heat and are designed for straightforward field maintenance. An indicator light signals when the heating cycle is active.
The Type 300 oven is suited for industrial and heavy commercial welding environments where low-hydrogen electrode conditioning is required before or during operations. Removable shelving inside the chamber accommodates a 50-pound electrode can and can also be used for drying wire coils or for pre-heat and post-heat treatment of welded components. A stacking option is available for facilities that need to consolidate multiple units in a limited footprint.
Designed as an OEM-style electrode conditioning oven for professional welding applications requiring controlled low-hydrogen electrode storage and drying.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified electrician familiar with dual-voltage equipment operating at 240 or 480 volts. Verify the supply voltage matches the unit configuration before energizing. Ensure the oven is placed on a stable, level surface with adequate clearance for door operation and ventilation. Follow applicable NEC requirements for equipment grounding and branch circuit sizing.
