The PFERD 49350073 is a 12-piece COMBICLICK surface finishing disc kit designed for angle grinder use on metal fabrication, weld blending, and surface preparation work. The kit combines coated fibre discs and non-woven conditioning discs, all sized at 4.5 inches in diameter with a 5/8-11 arbor mount. Abrasive materials include aluminum oxide, ceramic, and silicon carbide across multiple grit levels, covering aggressive stock removal through fine finishing in a single set. Licensed tradespeople and fabricators working in metal shops, maintenance facilities, and field erection environments will reach for this kit when multiple surface stages are required on one job.
This kit is suited for carbon steel, stainless steel, and non-ferrous metal surfaces where scratch pattern control and surface finish consistency matter. The COMBICLICK quick-change system allows rapid disc swaps without a wrench, reducing downtime between steps. The set spans coarse through fine work: three COMBICLICK fibre discs in CO-COOL 36 grit, CO-COOL 120 grit, and A-COOL 220 grit handle cutting and blending, while four non-woven discs in 100 C coarse, 180 M medium, 240 F fine, and a hard-type surface conditioning disc handle finishing and final scratch removal.
Designed for use with COMBICLICK-compatible 4.5-inch angle grinders fitted with a 5/8-11 spindle thread. All discs in this kit are COMBICLICK system discs and require a COMBICLICK quick-change backing pad.
Installation and disc changes must be performed with the grinder powered off and unplugged or battery removed. A licensed operator should verify that the grinder RPM rating meets or exceeds the maximum rated speed of each disc before use. Inspect each disc for cracks or damage before mounting. Follow ANSI B7.1 and applicable OSHA standards for abrasive wheel safety during setup and operation.
