Pentel PD279TA Twist-erase Click Mechanical Pencil 0.9mm

Product Description

The PENTEL PD279TA is a refillable mechanical pencil built around a side-click lead advance mechanism and a transparent barrel with a latex-free comfort grip. The side button advances 0.9mm HB lead without requiring a change in hand position, keeping workflow consistent during detailed drafting or writing tasks. HB lead is equivalent to a No. 2 wooden pencil in hardness. The twist-up eraser is extra-long by design and retracts cleanly via a turn dial, extending usable eraser life well beyond a standard cap eraser. This pencil is suited for drafters, field technicians, and trade professionals who need a reliable, refillable writing instrument on the job.

The PD279TA is appropriate for general-purpose use in office, field, and shop environments. The transparent barrel allows easy monitoring of remaining lead supply. The latex-free grip, eraser, and pocket clip make it suitable for users with latex sensitivities. Refillable with Pentel Super Hi-Polymer lead in 0.9mm and the E10 jumbo refill eraser, the pencil is designed for long-term use without full replacement.

Keep the pocket clip clear of obstructions when storing in a shirt pocket or tool pouch to avoid clip stress.
