Pendaflex PFX81605 Hanging File Folder Letter 1/5 Cut Black 25pk

Product Description

The PENDAFLEX PFX81605 is a letter-size hanging file folder designed for everyday document organization in standard filing systems. Built with a 25B weight stock for durability, each folder ships with crimped steel hanging rods that are coated for smooth, consistent sliding along file drawer rails. The 1/5 cut tab configuration includes clear plastic tabs and label inserts that can be positioned across three different locations along the top edge, allowing flexible labeling arrangements. This box contains 25 folders finished in black, suitable for color-coded filing setups in offices, medical practices, legal environments, or any workspace running high-volume paper management.

The PFX81605 is sized for letter-format documents and fits standard letter-size hanging file frames found in most two- and four-drawer vertical cabinets, lateral file cabinets, and mobile pedestal drawers. The coated steel rods maintain smooth travel even in heavily loaded drawers. The 1/5 cut tab spacing allows five distinct label positions across the top, making it straightforward to create staggered tab sequences across a full drawer. These folders are well suited for administrative staff, records managers, and office support professionals handling routine paper filing at volume.

Installation Notes

Hanging folders are installed by resting the coated steel rods on the rail channels inside the file drawer or frame. No tools are required. Ensure the file frame rail spacing matches letter-size dimensions before loading folders. Avoid overloading individual folders beyond the capacity of the rod coating to prevent premature wear on the hanging rods.
