The PARLEC T061615P TT is a solid carbide boring insert designed for precision metal removal in turning and boring operations. The insert features a TCMT style with a 60-degree triangular shape and a TiN/TiC/TiN multilayer coating that resists heat buildup and extends cutting edge life at elevated feeds and speeds. It carries a 7-degree relief angle and a positive rake geometry, which reduces cutting forces and is well-suited to finishing and semi-finishing passes. A corner radius of 0.016 inches helps control surface finish while reducing edge chipping. Qualified machinists and CNC operators install this insert into compatible boring bars and toolholders as a consumable cutting tool.

This insert is intended for use on stainless steel and carbon and alloy steel workpieces, corresponding to ISO material groups M and P. Installation Notes
