The PARLEC PC4-3415 is a manual single-cutter boring head designed for precision internal diameter machining on CNC machining centers and manually operated boring setups. Built around a 50.8 mm body diameter and featuring a PC4 integral mount with a modular connection shank, this Series 3 boring head delivers controlled, repeatable bore adjustments without requiring power actuation. The direct-reading diameter scale resolves to 0.0001 inches, giving machinists fine adjustment control. It handles bore diameters from 2.00 mm up to 20.00 mm, making it well suited to close-tolerance finish boring applications in metalworking environments.
This boring head is intended for use in machine shops, tool rooms, and production environments where fine bore sizing is required. The PC4 modular connection shank interfaces with compatible modular tooling systems, allowing the head to be mounted on a range of spindle configurations without dedicated adapters. It is appropriate for ferrous and non-ferrous boring operations where manual diameter adjustment and positive locking are standard practice. Machinists and tooling technicians performing setup or reconditioning work will find the Series 3 geometry and integral mount geometry straightforward to configure.
Designed for use with PC4 modular connection tooling systems. Compatible with Series 3 boring head configurations using an integral mount interface.
Installation of boring heads should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with modular tooling systems. Ensure the spindle and modular connection interface are clean and free of chips or burrs before seating the shank. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before making any diameter adjustments or changing the insert holder. Verify runout at the cutting edge after mounting and before initiating a bore cycle.
