The PARLEC DA200-0250 is a Double Angle Collet in the DA200 series, designed to securely hold round-shank cutting tools during milling, drilling, and routing operations. It accepts workpieces and tooling with a nominal size of 0.2500 inches, with a minimum collet capacity of 0.2344 inches and a maximum of 0.2500 inches. The overall length is 1.187 inches and the overall diameter is 0.539 inches. This collet is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped with DA200-compatible collet chucks.
The DA200-0250 is suited for production and job-shop environments where consistent tool runout control and repeatable clamping force are required. It fits DA200 series collet chucks used in vertical and horizontal machining centers. Typical applications include end mill holding, drill holding, and similar rotating-tool operations in light to medium cutting conditions across ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Designed for use with DA200 series collet chucks. Verify chuck series compatibility before installation, as DA200 collets are not interchangeable with other double angle series such as DA100 or DA300.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing collets. Ensure the collet, chuck body, and clamping nut are clean and free of chips or debris before assembly, as contamination affects runout and clamping force. Do not exceed the rated capacity of the collet, and confirm tool shank diameter falls within the specified minimum and maximum capacity range before tightening.
