The PARLEC DA100-10MM is a double angle collet designed for precision workholding in CNC machining and milling applications. Built to the DA100 collet series standard, it accepts a 10 mm (0.3937 inch) tool shank and measures 1.437 inches overall length with an overall diameter of 0.769 inches. The double angle design provides consistent gripping force along both contact faces, promoting accurate tool concentricity and reducing runout. Licensed machinists and CNC setup technicians install this collet as part of a DA100-compatible collet chuck system for reliable, repeatable tool retention in production and job-shop environments.
The DA100-10MM is suited for use in DA100-series collet chucks found on vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual milling machines. It is a standard-production collet size commonly specified when tooling 10 mm shank end mills, drills, or reamers. The 0.3937 inch bore matches inch-equivalent tooling as well, making it a crossover solution in shops running both metric and inch tooling programs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard production collet for DA100-series collet chuck systems accepting 10 mm shank tooling.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC toolroom technicians. Always power down and lock out the spindle drive before seating or removing collets from the chuck body. Inspect the collet bore and chuck taper for chips, burrs, or wear before assembly, as contamination directly affects runout and tool life. Use the appropriate DA100 collet nut and tighten with the manufacturer-specified spanner wrench - do not use pipe wrenches or improvised tools on the collet nut.
