The PARLEC 75PG-0609 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG/PG 75 collet chucks. It holds tool shanks at a nominal bore size of 0.6094 inches (39/64 inch) with a maximum total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision machining applications where consistent tool concentricity is required. The collet measures 1.8440 inches in overall length with a body diameter of 1.0620 inches. Machinists and toolroom technicians use this type of collet in CNC machining centers and manual milling operations where TG/PG 75 toolholders are already in service.
The 75PG-0609 is intended for use in shops running TG/PG 75 collet chuck systems. It is well-suited to production milling, drilling, and reaming setups where repeatable tool runout and positive clamping force are priorities. The standard single angle design is the most widely used configuration in this collet series and fits the full range of TG/PG 75 compatible chucks without modification.
Designed for use with TG/PG 75 series collet chucks. Compatible with toolholders and collet nuts built to the TG/PG 75 collet standard.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle or collet chuck is fully stopped and the machine is powered down or in a safe locked-out state before inserting or removing the collet. Clean the collet bore and chuck taper thoroughly before seating to avoid damaging the TIR specification. Torque the collet nut according to the chuck manufacturer's specifications - do not use air-impact tools on collet nuts.
