The PARLEC 5UMER11-0118 is an ER11 series collet designed for use in CNC machining centers, milling machines, and high-speed spindle applications. It holds workpieces or cutting tools at a nominal bore diameter of 0.1181 inches (3.00 mm) with a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0002 inches, making it suitable for precision toolholding where concentricity is critical. The collet measures 0.708 inches in overall length and 0.452 inches in overall diameter. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die professionals, and CNC setup technicians are the typical end users for this component.
This ER11 collet fits standard ER11 collet chucks used across a wide range of light-duty and precision machining operations, including circuit board drilling, engraving, and small-diameter end milling. The ER11 series is one of the most widely adopted collet standards in the industry, common in both benchtop and production-floor CNC equipment. The minimum collet capacity of 0.0984 inches (2.5 mm) allows for use with smaller-shank tooling within the same chuck body.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement collet for ER11-standard collet chucks used in CNC milling, drilling, and engraving applications.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC technicians. Always power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing a collet. Inspect the collet bore and chuck taper for chips, burrs, or wear before seating the collet. Use the appropriate ER11 collet nut and tighten to the chuck manufacturer's specified torque procedure to avoid damage to the collet or chuck body.
