The PARLEC 100PG-0437 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG100 and PG100 collet chucks. It grips round workpieces or cutting tools at a consistent angle to transmit rotational force with minimal runout. The collet accepts a 0.4375 inch (7/16 inch) bore diameter and holds a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision machining applications. With a body diameter of 1.379 inches and an overall length of 2.375 inches, it fits standard TG100/PG100 chuck bodies used on machining centers and milling machines. Machinists and tool crib personnel are the typical end users.
This collet is used in CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and horizontal mills equipped with TG100 or PG100 toolholding systems. It is well suited for production environments where consistent tool grip and low runout are critical to part accuracy. The 7/16 inch bore size makes it appropriate for a range of end mills, drills, and reamers with that shank diameter. Both job shops and high-volume production facilities use this collet series for general-purpose and finish machining work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard fitment collet for TG100 and PG100 series collet chuck systems.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing collets. Ensure the collet, chuck bore, and clamping nut are clean and free of chips or debris before assembly, as contamination directly affects runout and clamping force. Do not exceed the chuck manufacturer's recommended torque range for the clamping nut.
