The PARKER VS68NTA-3-2 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join 3/16 inch OD tubing to a 1/8 inch male NPT threaded port. It uses a compression-style end connection on one side and a male NPTF thread on the other, making it suitable for secure, leak-resistant connections in fluid and pneumatic line assemblies. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure with a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, this fitting meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J1131, and SAE J246 standards. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid power specialists install this type of fitting in control lines, instrumentation tubing, and brake system applications.
This connector is used in light-duty fluid line installations where a compression fitting must transition to a male NPT threaded connection. Typical applications include pneumatic control tubing, hydraulic instrument lines, and DOT-compliant brake line assemblies in both commercial and residential service environments. The brass construction makes it compatible with a wide range of non-corrosive fluids and gases. It is sold individually and is well suited for service and repair work where a single replacement fitting is needed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for compression-to-MNPT tube connector applications using 3/16 inch OD tubing and 1/8 inch NPT threaded ports in DOT-compliant and SAE-standard fluid line systems.
Installation is performed by qualified plumbers, HVAC technicians, or fluid power mechanics. Depressurize and isolate the fluid or pneumatic line completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Ensure the tubing end is cut square, deburred, and free of damage before inserting into the compression ferrule. NPTF threads are designed for dry-seal engagement, but consult the applicable system specification before applying thread sealant.
