The PARKER VS272AB-4-2 is a brass compression tube male branch tee designed for use in pneumatic and hydraulic tubing systems where a branch connection must be made between two compression ends and one male NPT port. Constructed from brass, this fitting handles a maximum working pressure of 400 psi and a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. The 1/8-27 NPTF thread provides a pressure-tight seal on the male branch port. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-system technicians working on compressed-air, fuel, or refrigerant-adjacent tubing circuits.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a tee branch is needed in a compression tube run terminating at a threaded male port. Typical installation scenarios include instrument air lines, brake system tubing, and other fluid-transfer circuits requiring DOT FMVSS571.106 and SAE J246 compliance. The Compression x Compression x MNPT end configuration allows the fitting to bridge a tube run while introducing a threaded outlet without additional adapters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for compression tube systems requiring a male branch tee with 1/8-27 NPTF thread and Compression x Compression x MNPT end connections.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compression fitting assembly and applicable fluid system codes. De-pressurize and isolate the tubing circuit fully before disassembly or fitting installation. Ensure tube ends are cut square, deburred, and fully seated into the compression ferrule before tightening. Do not over-tighten compression nuts, as brass fittings are subject to thread damage under excessive torque.
