The PARKER PP6VUC6-MG is a union connector bi-directional manual ball valve designed for 3/8 inch push-to-connect tubing applications. The valve features a full port design, which minimizes flow restriction and pressure drop across the valve body. Constructed with a polypropylene body and EPDM seals, it is rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and a minimum working temperature of 35 degrees F. A wedge-style handle provides positive shutoff with a clear open or closed indication. Plumbers and fluid-handling technicians use this valve where a removable union connection simplifies servicing or system isolation without cutting tubing.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, water treatment, and fluid distribution systems where push-to-connect fittings are the standard connection method. The bi-directional ball valve design allows installation in either flow direction, reducing the chance of incorrect orientation during rough-in or retrofit work. The NSF-51 and NSF-61 certifications make it appropriate for potable water contact applications. Its compact polypropylene body performs well in corrosive or chemical-resistant piping environments where metal valves are less desirable.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation valve for 3/8 inch outside diameter push-to-connect tubing systems in residential and light commercial plumbing and water treatment applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified fluid-systems technician in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line before connecting or disconnecting push-to-connect fittings. Verify tubing outside diameter and cut condition before inserting into the push-to-connect ports, as burrs or out-of-round tubing ends can compromise the seal. Do not exceed the 150 psi maximum working pressure rating or install below the 35 degrees F minimum working temperature.
